Terms of Service
Last updated: [add date before launch]
These terms contain bracketed placeholders (legal entity, governing law, contact) you must complete, and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before publishing. This is not legal advice.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Secriiti website and services (the "Service") provided by [Company legal name] ("Secriiti", "we", "us"). By accessing the website or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
2. The Service
Secriiti provides privacy-first insider and access risk detection that analyzes metadata from systems a customer connects, and produces risk signals, reports, and recommendations. The Service is currently offered on a pre-general-availability / early-access basis and may change as it develops.
3. Accounts and connected systems
You are responsible for the accuracy of registration information, for safeguarding credentials, and for activity under your account. You represent that you are authorized to connect the systems you link to the Service and to permit Secriiti to process metadata from them. Connectors are designed to be read-only and metadata-only.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: (a) using it unlawfully or to violate others' rights; (b) attempting to access systems or data without authorization; (c) interfering with or disrupting the Service; (d) reverse engineering except as permitted by law; or (e) using the Service to conduct surveillance prohibited by applicable law or by your obligations to your own personnel.
5. Customer data and privacy
Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. As between the parties, customer data remains the customer's. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate and provide the Service. We do not sell customer data or use it to train models shared across other customers.
6. Fees
Paid plans are billed as described at the time of purchase or in an applicable order. Pricing shown on the website is introductory and may change before general availability. [Insert billing, taxes, and refund terms.]
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding customer data), is owned by Secriiti and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant no rights except as expressly stated.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. Secriiti surfaces risk signals and does not guarantee detection or prevention of any particular incident, and is not a substitute for your own security program and judgment.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to [insert cap, e.g., amounts paid in the prior 12 months].
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or as needed to protect the Service. Upon termination, the rights granted to you cease and provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of [venue]. [Confirm with counsel.]
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed to [contact to be published], or by mail to [Company legal name, registered address].
